This research was conducted by the difficulty of teachers to implement the student attitude
assessment method during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik, Kuantan
Singingi Regency. The question research in this study is What is the most effective student
attitude assessment carried out by teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMAN 1 Kuantan
Mudik, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research aimed to find out what assessment methods
were most effective for assessing student attitudes at SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik, Kuantan Singingi
Regency. This is a descriptive quantitative study and the data collection instrument used is a
questionnaire which consisting of 56 questions. The population in this study were all teachers at
SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik who was totalled 46 people. The sample in this study was taken using
the Total Sampling technique. Based on the results of this research, the study found that the
most effective assessment of student attitudes carried out by teachers during the COVID-19
pandemic at SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik was the observation method, which was used to measure
the attitude of piety, honesty, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, mutual cooperation, polite and
self-confident.
