Dampak Pencemaran Danau Terhadap Pengunjung Di Kawasan Objek Wisata Danau Maninjau Kabupaten Agam Provinsi Sumatera Barat

This study aims to (1) determine the perception of tourists about the pollution in tourists areas on Lake Maninjau, (2) to determine the value of willingness to pay the tourists to management efforts and environmental restoration in tourist area on Lake Maninjau. This study used accidental sampling technique with total samples is 100 tourists which visited Lake Maninjau area. The technique in collecting data use questionnaire, then data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. Methods of analysis the value of willingness to pay by using the formula of the contingent valuation method (CVM). Based on the results of data processing show that the perception of tourists on pollution that occurred in tourist areas on Lake Maninjau is 69% of tourists feel disturb by the large number of floating net cages in the Lake Maninjau area. As the number of cages is very much caused the lake water becomes dirty and cloudy, the air around the lake stinks, pollute the environment and contaminate lakes, damage the ecosystem of the lake and reduce the natural beauty of the Lake Maninjau. From the impression that 76% of tourists travelling comfort is disrupted in the aftermath of the pollution in the Lake Maninjau areas. The results calculating of contingent valuation method show the value of willingness to pay the tourists in tourists area on Lake Maninjau to management efforts and environmental restoration has an average is Rp 10.350,00 with total value of willingness to pay is Rp 511.776.450,00.
