Dua Metode Iterasi Tiga Langkah Yang Efisien Dengan Orde Konvergensi Enam
This final project discusses two new iterative methods that are obtained by
composing Newton’s method with known methods of third order. Analytically
it is showed that both of the methods have six order of convergence and their
efficiency indexes are 1.5651. Computational results support the analytic result.
Numerical experiments show that, both of the methods are faster in obtaining
the root of the considered nonlinear equation compared with Newton’s, Potra-
Ptak’s and Homeier’s method.
