Pengaruh Penambahan Aditif Masterglenium Ace® 8595 Dengan Pengurangan Kadar Air 37,5% Dan Kadar Semen Rencana 409,80 Kg/M3 Terhadap Kuat Tarik Belah Beton
ABSTRACT
Concrete is obtained by mixing portland cement, fine aggregate, coarse
aggregate, and water with or without the use of additional materials. To obtain a
concrete with better strength, then the use of additional materials. One of the
additional material admixture such as superplasticizer used is MasterGlenium
ACE® 8595. This study aims to determine how big the influence of the addition
of MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 mechanical properties of concrete, one of them
against the split tensile strength of concrete with the reduction of the water content
of 37.5% and cement content plan 409.80 kg/m2. MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 is a
material added chemical Type F (Water Reducing, High Range Admixtures) that
serves to reduce the amount of water mixing needed, increase the value of
workability as well as improve the quality of concrete. This research using the
method of DOE (Department of Environment) according to ISO 03-2834-2000
with the test object in the form of concrete cylinder diameter 150 mm and height
300 mm. Test objects created as many as 8 samples for each variation of which 3
samples were tested at the age of 7 days and 5 sample tested at the age of 28 days.
The variation of dose addition of MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 used is 0.54%,
0.81%, 1.08 %, 1.35%, 1.62%, 1.89% and 2.16 % of the weight of cement. From
the test results of split tensile strength of normal concrete at 28-day test of 8.36
MPa, on the testing split tensile strength of concrete with the addition of
MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 with the value of gains in a row by 12.44 MPa, 11.69
MPa, 10.49 MPa, 10.27 MPa, 9.96 MPa, 11.16 MPa, and 9.16 MPa. Based on the
results of testing, then the use of MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 in concrete will
increase the split tensile strength of concrete, workability, and the coefficient of
age. Increase in split tensile strength the maximum obtained on the variation of
0.81% with the percentage increased by 39.89% of the Normal Concrete quality
with the split tensile strength of 3.72 MPa.
