Analisis Upah Minimum Dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Di Provinsi Riau

This research was conducted in Riau Province with the aim of knowing the effect of minimum wages and economic growth on employment in Riau Province.
The data processing technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method through the SPSS 26 program. The data used in this study were sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Riau Province, Riau in Figures (2000-2020).
The results of this study indicate that the minimum wage variable has a positive and significant effect on employment in Riau Province and the economic growth variable has a positive and significant effect on employment in Riau Province. So it can be concluded that the independent variables have a significant influence on employment in Riau Province.
