Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Budidaya Ikan Kakap Merah (Lutjanus Spp) Pada Keramba Jaring Apung (Kja) Di Desa Tapian Nauli I Kecamatan Tapian Nauli

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in June 2022 in Tapian Nauli I Village, Tapian Nauli District, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. The objectives of this study are (1) Identifying internal factors that determine the development of Red Snapper aquaculture business in KJA in Tapian Nauli I Village, Tapian Nauli District (2) Identifying external factors that determine the development of Red Snapper aquaculture business in KJA in Tapian Nauli I Village, Tapian Nauli District. (3) Formulating strategies for the development of Red Snapper aquaculture business in KJA in Tapian Nauli I Village, Tapian Nauli District. The method used in this research is the survey method, determining respondents using the census method, primary and secondary data collection. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of this research SWOT analysis quadrant diagram is in quadrant I (Aggressive Strategy). The SWOT analysis quadrant for internal is 1,611 which is the difference between strengths and weaknesses where strengths are greater than weaknesses. For external 1,343 is the difference between opportunities and threats where opportunities are greater than threats. Situation position I utilizes strengths and opportunities to support aggressive growth policies (Growth Oriented Srategy), namely the first own capital to develop the available land to increase business and also take advantage of assistance from the government and the second is to increase fish production with the ability of cultivators, so that the Red Snapper fish farming business in floating net cages in this village can be developed by utilizing strengths and opportunities as well as possible.
