Hubungan Minat Terhadap Partisipasi Petani Dalam Implementasi Ip 200 Padi Sawah Di Kecamatan Rangsang Barat
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the characteristics of farmers, the level of interest and participation of farmers, the relationship between characteristics and interests, and the relationship between interests and participation. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population used in this study was 120 farmers, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling with the criteria of farmers who have a minimum of five years of farming experience and farmers who have implemented IP 200 for four consecutive years. The data collection technique used observation techniques by directly observing objects in the field with the help of a questionnaire. Data analysis used a Likert scale with an analysis tool using the Spearman rank correlation test. The results of the study showed that farmers had a good level of interest and participation in participating in the IP 200 rice field program. The results of the Spearman rank correlation test on characteristics had a significant relationship with interest as seen from increased productivity, increased income, and social and institutional support, but education did not have a significant relationship with farmer interest. Characteristics have a significant relationship with farmer participation in participating in the IP 200 program as seen from farmers who follow the planning, implementation, evaluation, and enjoyment stages. The relationship of interest has a strong and significant relationship with farmer participation in the implementation of IP 200 for lowland rice.
