pengaruh joyful mathematics learning terhadap number sense dan motivasi siswa kelas ii sd negeri 108 pekanbaru
This research aims to see the effect of joyful mathematics learning on number sense and motivation of class II students at SD Negeri 108 Pekanbaru. This type of research is an experiment with a quantitative approach and uses a quasi-experiment method. The design in this research is Nonequivalent Control Group Design, which uses two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class which are chosen randomly. The experimental class will be given treatment and the control class will not receive treatment. This research provides a number sense pretest before receiving treatment and provides a number sense posttest and motivation posttest after receiving treatment. This research instrument is in the form of tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in using joyful mathematics learning in class II students' number sense and differences in motivation between the experimental class and the control class. This is proven by the results of the mean calculation which shows that the average posttest number sense score for the experimental class is greater than the control class, namely the average posttest score for the experimental class is 81 which is in the very high category and the average posttest score for the control class is 67 which is in the high category as well as the N-Gain test of the number sense test for the control class in the less effective category and the experimental class in the quite effective category. And the results of the posttest calculation of motivation between the experimental class were greater than the control class, namely the experimental class score was 81.83% in the very good category and the control class was 72.67% in the good category.
