Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Suhu Dan Kelembaban Kandang Anak Ayam Broiler Berbasis Internet Of Things (Iot)
ABSTRACT
Environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity significantly affect the growth and health of broiler chicks. Inappropriate environmental parameters can lead to stress and higher mortality rates. Therefore, a system that can monitor the poultry house conditions in real time is essential. This study aims to design and develop a temperature and humidity monitoring system for broiler chick housing based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system uses a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity and an ESP8266 microcontroller to process and transmit data. The collected data is sent wirelessly to the Telegram platform and can be accessed via a smartphone anytime and anywhere. The system is also equipped with a notification feature when temperature or humidity values exceed the predetermined threshold. Test results show that the system functions properly, provides accurate data, and helps farmers make faster decisions. This system is expected to improve the efficiency of broiler chick care and increase overall productivity.
