Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Anorganik Dan Air Terhadap Pertumbuhan Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq) Di Pre-Nursery Pada Tanah Gambut

An effort to get good and having quality seeds of palm oil is through the nursery,
where the soil as the growing medium should be able to provide the optimal
nutritients for the seeding growth. The land that is still stretching (unfolding wide)
and has enough potency to be develoved into plantation land is peatland. The
amain problems encountered in the utilization of peatlands is a low base saturation
and high cation exchange capacity and also has a high priority constraints
therepore, this problems need an alternative effort to increase enhance
productivity of pat soil. One of the solutions to the exploitation of peat is the
provision of in organic fertilizers and watering. This research carried out
experiments using completely eandomized design with 2 factors and 3
replications, while the parameters measure carried plant height, number of leaves
and tuters wrap. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and followed by further
test. DNMRT at level 5 percents. This research uses conducted on societys farm
in Simpang Baru district,Tampan, Pekanbaru. This study lasted / take place for5
months starting in June 2010 to October 2010. The result showed that giving
multiple doses of in organic fertilizer with water had no significant effect on all
parameter observed, but the numbers will trend the best result for the growth of
oil palm seedingt in prenursery is recommended for the growth of in organic
fertilizer and recommended dose of 1 time and 2 times a day on peat soil.
