Poverty, welfare, and unemployment is indeed an urgent priority issue to be addressed, both at the national, regional and district / city. Poverty reduction since reforms gained serious attention, because many cases are proving that the spread of poverty pressure will cause a number of counter-productive consequences for development (Ministry of Welfare, 2003).
The purpose of this study was to describe the Kuantan District Government Efforts in Addressing Poverty Rate Singingi in District Inuman Year 2007-2011, as well as describe what factors are causing the poverty level in the District of Kuantan District Inuman Singingi 2007-2011dan last year what impact of the Local Government Policy. This research was conducted in the District Inuman Singingi Kuantan District, where the informants in this study are those who know the problems that occur are forces that overcome the poverty level and that is considered masyarat know about the problems of poverty that exist in the office of Regent, Bappeda, Head Office Inuman, and Village Officials Village Community Inuman. in data collection and documentation obtained from in-depth interviews to the informant. Once the data is collected and then analyzed with the use of descriptive qualitative analysis.
Success or failure of policies according Mirille iplementasi S. Grindle was determined by two major variables, namely the contents of the policy and environmental policy, which also affects the interests of the Central and Regional mastermind order to overcome the poverty level in the District of Kuantan District Inuman Singingi Year 2007-2011.
