Analisis Permintaan Gadai Emas Pada PT. Bank BTN Syariah Pekanbaru

This research aimed to determine the dominant factors affecting customers in making a request pawning gold at PT. BTN Syariah Pekanbaru.
This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru to the object of research is PT. BTN Syariah Pekanbaru. Population and samples in this research is 47 customers who make gold pawn transactions at BTN Syariah Pekanbaru in 2012. Types and sources of data in this research using primary and secondary data. Data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires. The method of analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, which the data collected, grouped in such a way then tabulated according to research needs.
From the research, the dominant factor is the reason for the customer to pawn gold pattern at PT . BTN Syariah Pekanbaru is a factor that needs to invest a total of 27 people (57,44%) , while the factor for the consumption needs of as many as 15 people (31,92%) , the remaining 5 people (10,64%) perform pattern gold pawn for reasons security is to protect their gold . The factors that most affect customers in making gold investing is because it is liquid , making it easy cashed in a short time , as many as 19 people (40,43%) . The majority of respondents did pawning gold pattern at PT Bank BTN Syariah Pekanbaru is for the investment needs of as many as 27 people with the percentage of 57,44% , with details as to the long -term savings as many as 12 people (25,53%) , benefit / short-term deposits/ speculation of 7 people (14,89%) , capital requirement of 4 people (8,51%) , saving the cost of education for as many as 3 people (6,38%) , and for the hajj deposits by 1 person (2,13 % ) .
