Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas Tkr 1 SMK Telkom Pekanbaru

This research is a class action research to make learning process be better and to improve mathematic learning result by applying Cooperative Learning Talking Stick Model. The subjects were students of class X TKR 1 SMK Telkom Pekanbaru in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014, which amounted to 22 people and all are men with heterogeneous capabilities. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases, namely planning, action , observation and reflection. Each end of the cycle carried out daily tests. Data collected through observation and tests in the form of daily tests. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Results of research on the observation sheet shows the activity of teachers and students have been performing well after doing the action. Based on the observations of researchers during the learning process in class X TKR 1 SMK Telkom Pekanbaru, seen most students excited and participatory learning process carried out, such as in response to apperception, presented the results of focus group discussions, responding to the presentation, the implementation of the Talking Stick, delivering conclusion, do LKS and answer the group of their activities with friends. Students are trying to complete the activities in LKS well. Action is successful if the number of students who achieve a score of KKM on the basis of increasing the daily tests I and II daily tests. The percentage of students who achieve a score of KKM on basic, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) respectively are 13.6%, 45.5%, and 63.6%. Penilitian results showed that the application of cooperative learning model Talking Stick can improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes math class X TKR 1 SMK Telkom Pekanbaru.
