Sintesis Dan Uji Aktivitas Antimikroba Senyawa Pirazolin 5-(2-Bromofenil)-3-(Naftalenil)-4,5-Dihidro-1h-Pirazol
Pirazoline has been reported to have many beneficial of biological activities such as antimicrobial, antihiperglicemic, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and anticonvulsants. Pirazoline analog 5-(2-bromophenyl)-3-(naphthalenyl)-4,5- dihydro-1H-pyrazole (PH CN1-2Br) was synthesized through cyclization reaction between chalcone (E)-3-(2-bromophenyl)-1-(naphthalenyl)prop-2-enon (CN1-2Br) and hydrazine hydrate using acetic acid glacial as catalyst under microwave irradiation. The structure of all compounds were established on the basis of UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and MS. The compounds were screened for antimicrobial activities againts Bacillus subtilis (Gram-positive), Eschericia coli (Gram-negative) and Candida albicans (fungal) through agar diffusion method. The compounds showed yields of 62,63% (CN1-2Br) and 71.94% (PH CN1-2Br). All of investigated compounds did not show any activities against the Gram-negative bacteria and fungi, but it revealed weak activity against Gram-positive bacteria which was proven by zone of inhibition.
Key words: Pyrazoline, hydrazine hydrate, antimicrobial activity, microwave irradiation
