This nal project studies the economic production quantity (EPQ). During
the production process, the failures occur and reworking is conducted to mi-
nimize the total production cost. During the reworking process or production
process, shortage is not allowed. Therefore the customer demands service le-
vel is constant. This study is a review of Singh et al. [Industrial Engineering
Computations, 8 (2014): 305-314]. A numerical example is given to explain the
problem discussed.
