Pengaruh Pemberian Paclobutrazol Dan Pupuk Fosfor Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Var Saccharata Sturt.)

This research aim to know the interaction and the effect of application of paclobutrazol and phosphorus fertilizer and get the best concentration of paclobutrazol and phosphorus fertilizer of the growth and production of sweet corn. This research has been conducted from september until december 2016.This research has been conducted on the experimental field using a randomized block design with 2 factor. The first factor is the contration of paclobutrazol that consist of level: 0 ppm, 500 ppm, 1000 ppm and 1500 ppm. The second factor is the dose of phosphorus fertilizer that consist of level: 200 kg/ha, 300 kg/ha and 400 kg/ha. In this study, there are 12 combinations of treatment with 3 replications so that there are 36 experimental units. Each experiment contained 3 unit seedling and three nursery plants into samples so obtained total 144 seedlings.Parameters observed were the plant heigh, harvest age, cob weight with corn husk, cob weight without corn husk, cob diameter, amount of rows seed of cob, amount of seed of rows cob and production of square meter. The result showed that the interaction of application paclobutrazol and phosphorus fertilizer have non significant effect. Application paclobutrazol had significant effect on all parameters except amount of rows seed of cob. Application phosphorus fertilizer had significant effect on amount of seed of rows cob and production of square meter. Application paclobutraol 1000 ppm and phosphorus fertilizer 300 kg/ha produces 15,11 tons/hectare.
