This research was conducted on Housewives in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the effect of income on changes in consumption patterns in the city of Pekanbaru. Knowing the magnitude of the effect of using Non-Cash on changes in community consumption patterns in Tampan District Pekanbaru City. Where in this study the population is all housewives who are in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The sample in this study were 96 people.
Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression test, which is a test to measure the strength of the relationship between two or more variables and to show the direction of the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is known that one of the factors that influence the consumption expenditure of housewives in the city of Pekanbaru is income.
Income has a positive and significant effect on consumption. So it can be concluded that the higher a person's income, the higher the consumption will be. Non-cash payments affect the consumption expenditure of housewives in Tampan District Pekanbaru City. Non-cash payments have a positive and significant effect on consumption. Based on quantitative descriptive test, it is also known that income is the most dominant factor affecting consumption expenditure of housewives in Tampan District Pekanbaru City.Keywords: Consumption, Income, and, Debit Card
