Kegiatan Mass Blood Survey (Mbs) Sebagai Evaluasi Eliminasi Malaria Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 012 Dusun Sunting Hulu Kecamatan Kubu Babussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau
Elimination of malaria is an attempt to stop local malaria transmission in a particular geographical area. The four stages towards malaria elimination in the global malaria program are eradication, pre-elimination, elimination, and maintenance (prevention of re-transmission). Evaluation is an attempt to find out the results of malaria elimination activities in a certain period of time every six months or 1 year. The indicator of malaria elimination program is when districts / cities, provinces and islands were declared as eliminated areas of malaria if indigenous cases are no longer found for 3 consecutive years and were guaranteed with good surveillance capabilities. The purpose of this study is to determine the Mass Blood Survey (MBS) activity as an evaluation of malaria elimination in SDN 012 Sunting Hulu Hamlet, Kubu Babussalam District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The research design used was descriptive with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The sample in this study were students of SDN 012 aged 6-13 years in Sunting Hulu Hamlet, Teluk Nilap Jaya Village, Kubu Babussalam District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The results of the malaria examination using the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) that had been conducted found that there were no respondents who indicated positive malaria. This research showed that the program stages of malaria elimination in Rokan Hilir Regency have been going well .
