Pada Public Private Mix (Ppm) Dalam Pemberantasan Tuberkulosis Paru Serta Potensi Penguatannya Di Kota Pekanbaru
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis that is generally targeting pulmonary organ. TB is one of the top 10 causes of death and Indonesia is in third place after India and China. This study aimed to describe the role of hospital in public private mix to eradicate pulmonary tuberculosis and strengthening potential in pekanbaru city. This study was descriptive quantitative and qualitative with cross sectional design. The sample were hospital that has been implementing the DOTS strategy for minimum 1 year in pekanbaru city from October 2018, there were 4 hospitals that meet both inclusion and exclusion criteria. The result showed that the role of hospital in PPM measured using the score that was obtained such as 1 hospital (25 %) with good category, 2 hospitals (50 %) with enough category and 1 hospital (25 %) with less category.
The obstacles and strengthening potential to implementing PPM faced by hospital varied in terms of double occupation, untrained officer, no operational fund, nonoptimal internal network, construction of unit DOTS and innacurrate laboratory examination. Conclusion of this study showed that the role of hospital in PPM spread to category good, enough and less also there were obstacle and strengthening potential to implementing PPM.
