Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor Produksi Tenun Songket Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research purposed for knowing technical efficiency, price efficiency and
economic efficiency of the songket weaving industry in the city of Pekanbaru. The
data used are secondary and primary data. This secondary data was sourced from
the Department of Industry and Trade of the City of Pekanbaru, while the primary
data was obtained from as questionaire conducted through interviews with 16
respondents of the songket weaving industry in the City of Pekanbaru.
This research used descriptive quantitative methods through the analysis
of cobb-douglass production function with the application of stochastic frontier
production function and return to scale. Data processing using SPSS application
version 23.0. the variables used are capital and labor in the songket weaving
industry in Pekanbaru City.
The result showed that the variables capital and labor had a significant
effect on songket weaving production. Technical efficiency is 0.99999905, price
efficiency is 38.323, and economic efficiency is 38.3229. While the Return To
Scale value is 0.852, it means that the songket weaving industry in Pekanbaru
City is exsperiences a decreassing return to scale. With an economic efficiency
value greater than one, it means that the efficient use of production factors has
not yet been achieved . So as to achieve overall efficiency it is necessary to add
proportional inputs.
