Analisis Miskonsepsi Materi Laju Reaksi Menggunakan Instrumen Tes Diagnostik Four Tier Multiple Choice Pada Peserta Didik Kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru
This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the four tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument, to find out on what concepts students have misconceptions and find out the category of students' misconceptions on the reaction rate material. This study uses quantitative descriptive research methods. The population in this study were all students of class XII MIPA SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, while the sample used was 104 students of class XII MIPA who had studied the material for reaction rates and were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using an instrument validation sheet and a four-level multiple choice diagnostic test sheet.

Data analysis to test the instrument's feasibility characteristics was carried out through validity, reliability, discriminatory power and level of difficulty. Data analysis to determine the category of level of misconception is carried out through the assessment stage, grouping the data, calculating the percentage of misconceptions and determining the category of the level of students' misconceptions. The results showed that the 16 questions used based on content validity were declared valid with a percentage of 96.97%, the construction validity of all items was declared valid with an rcount > 0.444, the reliability of the instrument was declared reliable with a very high criterion of 0.83, having an average value. The average discriminatory power is 0.5 with good criteria, and in general the items have a moderate level of difficulty with an average value of 0.5. Students experience misconceptions about the reaction rate material which includes the concept of understanding reaction rates, collision theory, factors that affect reaction rates, reaction orders, and the law of reaction rates. The percentage of misconceptions about the overall reaction rate is 36.51% with the category of moderate misconceptions. The percentages for each concept are the concept of reaction rate of 50.96% in the medium category, the collision theory of 34.13% with the medium category, the factors that affect the reaction rate of 40.71% with the medium category, the reaction order of 27.40% in the low category, and the law of reaction rate of 29.33% in the low category.
