ABSTRACT
For three consecutive years, Lima Puluh sub-district has been the focus of the Pekanbaru city government in reducing stunting rates because the prevalence of stunting in this area is high and intervention is needed. In 2020, the sub-districts that had the highest prevalence of stunting were Sail sub-district and Lima Puluh sub-district with a stunting prevalence in Lima Puluh sub-district of 7.18%. However, in 2021 to 2022, the Pekanbaru city e-PPGBM results show that the sub-district with the highest prevalence is Lima Puluh sub-district with the prevalence in 2021 at 7.29% and in 2022 at 4.47%. This study aims to determine the effect of family income, mother's employment status, mother's education, and number of family members on the incidence of stunting in Lima Puluh District. The population in this study is families who have toddlers aged 0-59 months who have a history of stunting in 2022. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated / census sampling technique. In this study the number of samples was 60 samples. To determine each direction and influence between the independent and dependent variables, the tool used to test is Eviews software using logistic regression analysis. The results in this study explain that there is an influence between family income (X1), mother's employment status (X2), mother's education (X3), while the variable number of family members (X4) has no effect on the incidence of stunting. The effect caused by the independent variables on the dependent variable (Adjusted R-Squared) is 63%, while the remaining 37% can be influenced by other factors outside the variables in this study.
