ABSTRACT
Firm value reflects the company's ability to provide prosperity for shareholders which is reflected in the increase in stock prices. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of financial performance, capital structure, and firm size on firm value. The population in this study were 46 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020-2022 period. The sample selection in this study used purposive sampling technique, which is based on certain criteria such as banking companies listed on the IDX, and banking companies that experienced losses in 2020-2022, so that the number of samples obtained was 35 companies. The data collection technique used in research related to financial data on the Indonesia Stock Exchange is carried out through the official IDX website and other financial sources. Data analysis tools are carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that financial performance has no effect on firm value, capital structure affects firm value and firm size affects firm value. The novelty in this study adds the capital structure variable on the grounds that it provides a more comprehensive understanding of the management of the company's long-term financial resources in influencing firm value.
