ABSTRACT
The study aims to examine the influence of task complexity, competence,
information system speed, and incentives on the effectiveness of accounting
information system usage. The population in this study consists of accounting
information system users in hospitals in Pekanbaru City, with a sample of 18
hospitals in Pekanbaru City selected using a saturated sampling method. The
respondents in this study are finance and IT staff in hospitals in Pekanbaru City,
totaling 55 individuals. The data used in this study are primary data collected
through questionnaires, which were tested for validity and reliability before data
collection. The data analysis techniques in this study include validity tests,
reliability tests, and hypothesis testing, conducted with the assistance of SmartPLS
Version 4.1.0.8. The results of this study indicate that task complexity, competence,
information system speed, and incentives significantly influence the effectiveness of
accounting information system usage.
