Pengaruh Time Budget Pressure, Sifat Machiavellian, Kompleksitas Tugas, Dan Stres Kerja Terhadap Perilaku Disfungsional Audit (Studi Empiris Pada Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Perwakilan Provinsi Riau)
ABSTRACT This research aims to examine the influence of time budget pressure, Machiavellian nature, task complexity, and work stress on dysfunctional audit behavior. This study was conducted at the Riau Province Representative Financial Audit Agency, by collecting data through questionnaires from auditors who work at that institution. Data analysis was carried out using the multiple linear regression method to determine the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The research results show that time budget pressure, Machiavellian nature, task complexity and work stress have a significant relationship to dysfunctional audit behavior. These findings provide in-depth insight into the factors that influence dysfunctional audit behavior, which in turn can help government institutions to design policies and procedures that are more effective in managing auditor performance. This research is expected to contribute to audit literature and assist BPK in improving quality audit in Riau Province. Apart from that, this research can also be a reference for other researchers who want to study similar topics in the future. Keywords: Time budget pressure, Machiavellian nature, task complexity, work stress, dysfunctional audit.
