Analisis Tingkat Pencemaran Air Bawah Tanah Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Konfigurasi Wenner Dan Geokimia Di Kelurahan Sidomulyo Timur Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai
Groundwater serves as a primary resource for the community of Sidomulyo Timur, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, primarily for household and industrial needs. Increased domestic and industrial activities in this area have the potential to cause groundwater contamination through waste infiltration. This study aims to analyze the level of groundwater contamination by combining the Wenner Configuration geoelectric method and geochemical analysis. The geoelectric method was used to measure subsurface resistivity values and determine the distribution patterns of pollutants, while the geochemical method analyzed water quality parameters such as pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), conductivity, and turbidity. The research results show that resistivity values range from 0,428 Ωm to 3,948 Ωm at depths of 1,25 to 15,9 meters. A low resistivity layer was found at a depth of 3,75–6,38 meters and identified as the main aquifer. Water quality analysis from 10 samples indicated that all samples had a pH < 6,5 signifying acidic characteristics due to local geological factors and domestic waste pollution.
