Sistem Informasi Pemesanan Tiket Bus Pt. Fajar Riau Wisata Berbasis Web

This research aims to design and develop a web-based bus ticket reservation information system for PT. Fajar Riau Wisata to improve service efficiency and customer convenience in booking tickets. The system was developed using PHP programming language, supported by HTML, CSS, JavaScript technologies, and MySQL as the database. Data collection methods included interviews and direct observations of the current manual ticket booking process. The designed system involves two main actors: admin and passenger. Its main features include regular ticket booking, seat selection, ticket checking and cancellation, bus rental, and schedule management by the admin. The implementation results indicate that the system helps reduce queues, minimize record-keeping errors, and simplify real-time data management. With this system, the ticket reservation process becomes faster, more accurate, and more flexible for both users and the company.
