Pengaruh Penambahan Dosis Bioboost Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Nilem (Osteochilus Hasselti) Dengan Sistem Resirkulasi Akuaponik
Nile tilapia (Osteochilus hasselti) is an endemic freshwater species native to Indonesia, capable of surviving in both riverine and swamp ecosystems. The aquaculture of nile tilapia is frequently challenged bu the decline in water quality, primarily caused by the accumulation of metabolic waste. Probiotics play a critical role in improving water quality, enhancing biosecurity, andreducing production costs by increasing feed efficiency and decreasing deed expenditure. One of the probiotics that can helped nile tilapia maintenance is Bioboost. This study aims to obtain the best Bioboost dose to increase the growth and survival rate of Nile Tilapia (Osteochilus hasselti) in aquaponic recirculation. This research was carried out from October to November 2024 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau.. The method used in this study is a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) 1-factor wwith five treatments and three replications. The Bioboost doses used inthis study were P0 (Without Bioboost), P2 (0,25 mL/L), P3 (0,30 mL/L), and P4 (0,40 mL/L) and fish were kept for 56 days. The results of this study showed that the best dose is P3 (0,30 mL/L) which resulted in an average final weight growth of 4,14±0,06 g, an average length of 2,00±0,13 cm, specific growth rate of 1,99±0,02 %, feed efficiency 38,90±1,10 % and feed conversion 2,57±0,07 %. As well as survival rate is 100% with temperature water quality values ranging 25,5-29oC, pH 6-7,5, DO 1,6-7,3 mg/L, ammonia 0,045-0,154 mg/L, nitrate 0,019-1,083 mg/L dan nitrite 0,457-1,096 mg/L- adding 0,30 mL/L effects the growth and survival rate
