Efek Konsentrasi Larutan Pengencer Nacl Fisiologis Berbeda Terhadap Kualitas Spermatozoa Dan Daya Tetas Telur Ikan Koi (Cyprinus Rubrofuscus)
The use of physiological NaCl solution as a semen diluent was one of the breeding technologies applied in artificial spawning to increase the production value of aquaculture. This study aimed to determine the effect of different concentrations of physiological NaCl solution on the quality of spermatozoa and the hatching rate of koi fish eggs (Cyprinus rubrofuscus). The method used in this research was an experiment employing a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor, four levels of treatment, and three replications. The results showed a significant effect on the quality of spermatozoa and the hatching rate of koi fish eggs treated with different concentrations of physiological NaCl diluent. The P2 treatment, with a 0.5% NaCl concentration (55.55 mL + 44.45 mL distilled water), was the most effective in improvingspermatozoa quality. The motilityand viability values of spermatozoa obtained were 100% and 86.24%, respectively. Meanwhile, the fertilization parameter resulted in afertilizationrate of 98.03%, and the hatching rate of koi fish eggs reached 98.12%. Thesefindings indicated apositivecorrelation between the increased spermatozoa quality and the fertilization and hatching success of koi fish eggs (Cyprinus rubrofuscus). Water quality during the study remained within normal ranges for egg hatching and larval survival, with temperatures ranging from 27°C to 28°C, pH between 6 and 7, and dissolved oxygen (DO) levels from 5.9 mg/L to 6.3 mg/L.
