the development of liveworksheets as interactive instructional media for teaching reading descriptive texts at x grade
This research addresses the need for effective instructional media in teaching English descriptive texts to X-grade students. The study aims to develop and validate Liveworksheets as interactive instructional media to enhance student engagement and comprehension. Utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) the study included need and curriculum analyses, material design using Canva and Liveworksheets, and expert validations covering material, media, and pedagogic aspects. The results show that the developed Liveworksheets effectively align with the Merdeka Curriculum and incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, audio, and interactive tasks, which promote active and independent learning. Validations confirmed the worksheets’ suitability in improving student understanding, motivation, and reducing reliance on paper-based resources. The study concludes that Liveworksheets serve as a practical and efficient tool for teaching reading descriptive texts while addressing technological trends in education. This research contributes to the field by providing educators with an innovative approach that aligns with modern curricula and supports green education, ultimately enhancing teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
