Analisis Keberlanjutan Usaha Peternakan Ayam Broiler Yang Bermitra Pada Pt Ciomas Adisatwa Di Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
Broiler chicken farming businesses in Indonesia tend to be carried out and run using a partnership system. Partnership patterns are a type of cooperative relationship between small entrepreneurs and medium or large entrepreneurs (core companies). The core company provides input for livestock production facilities (seeds, feed and medicines) while farmers provide cages and equipment as well as labor in the management process. However, this business still faces a number of challenges, such as inefficient waste management, limited use of technology, and suboptimal partnership patterns. This study aims to analyze the level of sustainability of broiler chicken farming businesses and identify sensitive attributes that influence sustainability. This study involved 7 respondents selected by purposive sampling based on three main criteria, namely broiler chicken farmers who implement a partnership pattern, are located in Riau Province, and have harvested for at least the last five periods. Data analysis was carried out using Multidimensional Scalling (MDS) through the RAPFISH approach and Leverage Analysis to determine the most influential attributes. The results of the study showed that overall, broiler chicken farming businesses are classified as quite sustainable based on the five dimensions analyzed. However, there are still certain dimensions that need to be improved so that this business can be more optimal. The main sensitive attributes of each dimension are, the economic dimension of income diversification attribute, the ecological dimension of equipment sanitation frequency attribute, the social dimension of family member participation attribute in chicken farming business, the technological dimension of storage place attribute, and the partnership dimension of partnership cooperation rules attribute. Thus, this study recommends increasing the capacity of farmers in waste management, utilizing modern technology, and strengthening partnership patterns so that the sustainability of broiler chicken farming business can continue to be improved in the future.
