Analisis Kondisi Kesehatan Transformator Berbasiskan Metode Indeks Kesehatan Dan Kegagalan Transformator
ABSTRACT
Transformers are an important asset whose health condition needs to be monitored regularly to maintain operational reliability and prevent potential failures. Therefore, regular monitoring and testing of transformer oil and paper insulation (furan) is necessary. This study aims to evaluate health index, estimate remaining life, and detect potential transformer failures. The data parameters used were obtained from PT Wilmar Bioenergy Indonesia, including Dissolved Gas Analysis, Breakdown Voltage, Water Content, Acid, Interfacial Tension, and 2 Fal (furan). The method used for diagnosing transformer health condition is the Transformer Health Index method, while failure analysis was conducted using Total Dissolved Combustible Gas (TDCG), Roger’s Ratio, and Duval’s Triangle. The results showed that two transformers were in good condition with a health index ranging from 70% to 90%, which was categorized as good with an estimated operational life of more than 10 years and 15 years. In addition, there was one transformer in poor condition with a health index ranging from 30% to 50%, which was categorized as bad with an estimated operational life of less than three years. However, the failure analysis results indicate the presence of overheating failures with temperatures exceeding 700°C. Although the overall condition is still good, preventive maintenance measures are still recommended to avoid more serious damage in the future.
