Pemisahan Tandan Buah Segar Kelapa Sawit Berdasarkan Massa Pada Proses Sortasi Menggunakan Konveyor Dan Load Cell
This study aims to design and implement a load cell sensor system for fresh fruit
bunches (FFB) based on mass, using a conveyor and load cell sensor. The system is
designed to detect the weight of the bunches in real time and separate them according
to the minimum weight criteria established by the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture
Regulation No. 1 of 2018, which is above 3 kg. The mass detection system integrates
a 7MA BX1/150/4050 load cell sensor, an Arduino Uno, and an HX711 converter
connected to a computer using the PLX-DAQ application for data acquisition. The
conveyor speed is varied using a potentiometer to observe its effect on mass reading
accuracy. The results show that the system can detect mass and accurately. The study
demonstrates that load cell-based automation is effective in measuring FFB mass in
real time.
