Analisis Kinerja Karyawan Pada Koperasi Produsen Kusuma Bakti Mandiri Di Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze employee performance at Koperasi Produsen
Kusuma Bakti Mandiri by identifying levels of work motivation, work ability, and
employee performance as well as their interrelationships. The research was
conducted using a census of 24 active cooperative employees in Desa Sialang
Kubang, Kampar, with a quantitative descriptive approach and purposive sampling
technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and
documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman
rank correlation to determine the strength of relationships between variables. The
results showed that employees had a high level of motivation and work ability,
which was reflected in good performance scores. Spearman rank correlation
analysis revealed that work motivation has a strong and significant relationship with
employee performance with a correlation coefficient value of 0.568 and a sig. 2-
tailed value of 0.004, which means there is a strong and unidirectional relationship.
Work ability has a strong and significant relationship with employee performance
with a correlation coefficient value of 0.576 and a sig. 2-tailed value of 0.003, which
means there is a strong and unidirectional relationship. This study shows that to
improve employee performance, cooperatives must focus on maintaining and
improving employee motivation and abilities, especially in the aspect of needs
provided by giving praise to employees who have good performance.
