Implementasi Model Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Energi Terbarukan Siswa Kelas X SMA
Concept understanding is an important aspect of physics learning, especially in renewable energy materials that are abstract and require students' critical thinking. However, there are still many students who have difficulty in understanding the concept due to conventional learning approaches that do not involve students actively. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) learning model in improving the understanding of the concept of renewable energy in class X high school students. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 19 Pekanbaru in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year using the quasi-experimental method and posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class using the TAPPS model and the control class using conventional learning. The data collection instrument was a reasoned multiple choice test of 15 questions covering seven indicators of concept understanding.
