Pengaruh Regulasi Diri Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Kimia Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lirik
This research aims to determine the influence of self-regulation and learning motivation on the Chemistry learning outcomes of Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Lirik. A quantitative approach with a descriptive method was employed. The sample consisted of 176 students selected through total sampling technique. The instruments used included self-regulation and learning motivation questionnaires, as well as documentation of validated Chemistry learning outcomes, both theoretically and empirically. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression, processed using SPSS software. The analysis results showed that self-regulation had a significant influence on Chemistry learning outcomes, although its contribution was smaller compared to learning motivation. Learning motivation had a more dominant positive and significant influence on students’ Chemistry learning outcomes. Simultaneously, self-regulation and learning motivation contributed 15.8% to the variation in Chemistry learning outcomes, while the remaining 84.2% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The conclusion of this study is that self-regulation and learning motivation are important factors in supporting students’ academic achievement, and therefore should be continuously developed through appropriate learning strategies in schools.
