PENGARUH CAHAYA DAN SUHU BERBEDA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN KELULUSHIDUPAN LARVA IKAN BAUNG (Hemibagrus nemurus)
The research was conducted from February 9th 2017 to March 23rd 2017 in the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory Aquaculture of Fisheries and Marine Faculty, Riau University. The aim of this research was to find out the influence of photoperiod and thermal on the grow and larvae survive of baung fish (Hemibagrus nemurus). The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (Factorial CRD) with 2 factors, 9 treatments, and 3 replications. The treatment used in this experiment is B24T24 (Bright 24 hours + Temperature 240C), B24T26 (Bright 24 hours + Temperature 260C), B24T28 (Bright 24 hours + Temperature 280C), D24T24 (Dark 24 hours + Temperature 240C), D24T26 (Dark 24 hours + Temperature 260C), D24T28 (Dark 24 hours + Temperature 280C), BD12T24 (Bright + Dark 24 hours + Temperature 240C), BD12T26 (Bright + Dark 24 hours + Temperature 260C), BD12T28 (Bright + Dark 24 hours + Temperature 280C). Result of this research for 42 days shown that the best treatment was D24T28 for absolute growth of weight was 2,04 g. Absolute longevity was 65,25 mm, daily growth rate of 18,15% day. While the low treatment is BD12T24 for weight growth 1,18 g, absolute longevity 38,65 mm, daily growth rate of 16,85% day. Water quality of temperature range from 240C, 260C, 280C. pH range from 5-6 and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) range from 5,40 – 5,76 mg/l..
