Pengaruh Penambahan Sumber Karbon Yang Berbeda Padasistem Bioflok Terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Nila Merah (Oreochromis Niloticus)
The research was conducted from April to June 2017 at Laboratory Aquaculture of Technology, Faculty Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The purpose of this reserch was to find the effect of the addition different carbon sources with bioflok system on the growth and survival rate of red tilapia (oreochromis niloticus). This research used experimental method with Completely Randomized Design of one factor with four treatment that is A without adding carbon, B addition of carbon source from molasses, C addition of carbon source from tapioca and D addition of carbon source from sugar. The results showed different carbon sources giving significant effect on the rate of growth and survival rate of red tilapia. The best treatment is the addition of carbon source from molasses. Addition of carbon sources from molasses is the best source of carbon in maintaining water quality that is a more stable decline in the TAN value.
