Pemanfaatan Fermentasi Tepung Kulit Buah Kakao (Theobroma Cacao) Menggunakan Cairan Rumen Sapi Dalam Pakan Buatan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Nila (Oreochromis Niloticus)
This research was conducted on April until May 2019 at Fish Nutrition
Laboratory, Fisheries and Marine Faculty, University of Riau. The purpose of this
experiment was to determine the percentage of the best fermented cocoa pod flour
in feed to increase the growth of tilapia seeds. The research method use in this
study was an experimented method and completely randomized design with five
treatments and three replication. The treatment study were P0 (0%), P1 (30%), P2
(40%), P3 (50%), P4 (60%). The best results were treatment of fermented cacao
fruit flour with a percentage of 50% at P3 with a absolute weight growth of 14,21
g, specific growth rate of 7,30%, 95% survival rate and feed efficiency with a
value of 96,87%. Water quality range at all treatments were the temperature range
was from 28 to 31oC, pH ranges was from 5 to 6, and dissolved oxygen was from
5 to 5,9 mg/L.
