This research aims to analyze the optimization of the management of fixed assets in Financial Management Agency And the Regional Asset of Pekanbaru City. This research is a qualitative research using Soft System Methodology approach The purpose of this research is to look at the root of fixed asset management problem And how the management of fixed assets becomes optimal in the Regional Financial Management and Assets of Pekanbaru City. The results showed fixed asset management problems in Finance and Asset management Agency of City of Pekanbaru Because it has not been implemented and has not been updated standard operating procedure (SOP) The management of fixed assets in accordance with the latest regulations. In addition, the results of this research also indicate that there are weaknesses in the competence of human resources And information technology has not been utilized optimally.
In order to solve the problem, this research recommends to the Financial Management Agency And the Regional Asset of Pekanbaru City to develop standard operating procedure (SOP) According to the latest regulatory regulations on the management of fixed assets, Provide training and certification of human resources involved in the management of fixed assets And develop information technology by building an integrated asset management information system with finance.
