Pengaruh Suhu Yang Berbeda Terhadap Laju Penyerapan Kuning Telur Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus)
ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was determine the effect of different temperatures
to the rate of yolk absorption and survival rate catfish larvae Baung (Hemibagrus
nemurus). This research was conducted from August – September 2020 at Fish
Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty Riau
University. The method used in this research was an experimental method with
Completely Randomized Design (CRD) one factor with four treatments and three
replications. The treatment were P1 (the maintenance of catfish larvae Baung at
temperatures of 26ºC), P2 (the maintenance of catfish larvae Baung at
temperatures of 28ºC), P3 (the maintenance of catfish larvae Baung at
temperatures of 30ºC), P4 (the maintenance of catfish larvae Baung at
temperatures of 32ºC). The results showed that the best treatment in P2 (the
maintenance of catfish larvae Baung at temperatures of 28ºC) the time of yolk
utilization for 110 hours, rate yolk absorption of 9,30%, rate growth in length of
0,46%, efficiency of yolk utilization 4,948%, and survival rate 84,4%. The water
quality parameters during research i.e. the temperature with a range fluctuations of
1ºC, pH range was range was 6,9-7,4, and DO range was 4,1-5,1.
