Pengaruh Pemberian Fermentasi Feses Sapi Dengan Dosis Yang Berbeda Terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan Spirulina Sp.
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in September 2020 at the Fish Hatchery and
Breeding Laboratory, Aquaculture Major, Fisheries and Marine Faculty, Riau
University. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fermentation
of cow feces at different doses on the culture of Spirulina sp. The method used in
this study was an experimental method using a completely randomized design
(CRD) with 4 treatments and repeated 3 times. The treatments used in this study
were: P0 (walne fertilizer 1 ml / l media as control), P1 (cow feces fermentation
dose 3.5 ml/l media), P2 (cow feces fermentation dose 5.5 ml/l media) , P3 (cow
feces fermentation dose of 7.5 ml/l media). Cultivation was carried out for 10 days
and observed growth every 24 hours. The results showed that fermentation of cow
feces with different doses on the growth rate of Spirulina sp. affect the growth rate
of Spirulina sp. The best dose of fermented cow feces is 5.5 ml/l culture media
with a maximum population density of 307.00 x 104 cells/ml, and a specific
growth rate of 0.50335/day, and the highest peak density occurred on the seventh
day. The results of water quality measurements during the study obtained a
temperature of 27-28.3oC and a pH of 8.1-8.6.
