Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Benih Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus) Dengan Pemberian Hormon Pertumbuhan Rekombinan (Rgh) Denga Dosis Berbeda
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted on March 30 to May 10, 2021 at the Laboratory of the Technical Service Unit (UPT) for Ponds and Hatcheries, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau. This research aims to determine the immersion dose of recombinant growth hormone (rGH) to stimulate growth and survival of redtail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) fry. Redtail catfish was soaked in recombinant growth hormone (rGH) for 30 minutes and mixed with 0.9% NaCl solution and different doses of rGH (0, 6, 12, and 18 mg/L). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. This research concluded that the best dose of recombinant growth hormone was 12 mg/L because it had the highest growth weight (4.33 g), the highest total growth length (5.17 cm), the highest specific growth rate (3.34%), feed efficiency highest (78.25%) and highest survival rate (86.67%) compared to other doses.
