Pengaruh Penyuntikan Ekstrak Kelenjer Hipofisa Ikan Mas Dan Hcg (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Dengan Dosis Yang Berbeda Terhadap Ovulasi Dan Penetasan Telur Ikan Mali (Labeobarbus Festivus, Heckel 1843)
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted from March to April 2021 at the Fish Hatchery and
Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science,University of Riau.
The purpose of this research was to know the effect of carp pituitary extracts
hipofis and hCG best treatment to ovulation and hatching rate eggs of
Labeobarbus festivus and to determine the best doses of hCG to stimulate
ovulation and hatching eggs of Labeobarbus festivus. The method used in this
study was an experimental method. Data were analyzed descriptive with one
factor, four treatments and three repetitions. Doses of hormones treatment used
were P0: control using 0.9% NaCl, P1: 2 doses of carp pituitary extracts hipofisis
and 200IU/kg of hCG, P2: 2 doses of carp pituitary extracts hipofisis and 300
IU/kg of hCG, P3: 2 doses of barb pituitary extracts hipofisis and 400 IU of hCG
/kg. The best results in this study were P3 treatment with 2 doses of barb pituitary
extracts hipofisis and hCG doses of 400 IU/Kg with a latency time was 5 hours 48
minutes, the number of stripping eggs was 200 eggs/gram broodstock, ovisomatic
index value (IOS) was 13.82%, fertilization rate (FR) was 69.82%, hatching rate
(HR) was 78.13%, and survival rate 5 days (SR) was 80.02%. Result of water
quality measurements during the study were 27- 31˚C temperature pH 5-7 and DO
5,4 – 6,5 ppm.
