Perancangan Aplikasi Pengelolaan Properti Berbasis Website Menggunakan Metode Rup Dan Mvc
ABSTRACK
This research discusses the development of a web-based property management system designed to meet the diverse needs of users, namely administrators and residents. This system uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a Rational Unified Process (RUP) approach and Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. The application is built using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The system includes two main types of pages: the administrator page, which consists of a landing page, login page, and dashboard, and a user-friendly resident page. Features on the administrator page include property management, resident data, finance, complaints, and user accounts, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Residents can access important information, make online bill payments, and submit complaints through a simplified process. System testing is conducted using SonarQube, PageSpeed Insights, and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to ensure code quality, application performance, and user experience. The results of the testing indicate that the application meets various important aspects, including functional suitability, reliability, maintainability, performance efficiency, portability, compatibility, security, and usability. Although the system demonstrates many advantages, there are some shortcomings that need to be addressed. Suggested improvements include integration with WhatsApp for better communication, a notification system to update users, additional payment options, and optimization of the user interface. Thus, the developed application is expected to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction in property management.
