Faktor-Faktor Yang Memengaruhi Minat Pekebun Kelapa Sawit Pola Swadaya Mengikuti Program Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (Ispo) Di Kecamatan Bandar Sei Kijang
ABSTRACT
The research was aimed to: (1) analyze factors influencing independent smallholder
palm oil farmers' interest in participating in the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil
(ISPO) program in Bandar Sei Kijang District; and (2) examine the relationship
between attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on farmers'
behavioral intentions toward ISPO implementation. The study employed a survey
method with 102 respondents selected through cluster sampling. Data analysis
utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 26 software. Results
showed that farmers' perceptions of ISPO were generally positive, with an average
score of 3.98 (good category). Subjective norms had the highest score (4.06),
followed by attitudes (3.97) and perceived behavioral control (3.82). The structural
model analysis revealed that attitudes (CR=2.534; p=0.011) and subjective norms
(CR=2.095; p=0.036) significantly influenced behavioral intentions, while
perceived behavioral control showed no significant effect (CR=-0.759; p=0.448).
The study demonstrates that social support and positive attitudes are crucial factors
in promoting ISPO adoption among independent smallholders.
