Sistem Informasi Perekrutan Karyawan Berbasis Web Pada Pt. Bestprofit Futures Pekanbaru
The rapid advancement of information technology has encouraged institutions to shift to digital systems in managing various operational activities, including the employee recruitment process. At PT. Bestprofit Futures Pekanbaru, the recruitment process was previously conducted manually by receiving physical documents. This method caused several issues, such as unorganized applicant data, difficulties in verifying documents, and the risk of document loss. To address these problems, a web-based employee recruitment information system was developed using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The system provides features such as registration, document upload, application status checking, and an HRD (Human Resources Development) panel to manage and verify applicants. The user interface is designed to be simple and easy to understand for both applicants and HRD staff. The system development followed the waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis and system implementation stages. With this system, the recruitment process becomes more structured and organized, while minimizing errors in employee selection.
