Pengembangan Instrumen Asesmen Sumatif Berbasis Enam Aspek Pemahaman Dalam Kerangka Understanding By Design (Ubd) Pada Materi Hidrolisis Garam Kelas XI SMA/MA Sederajat
The Independent Curriculum encourages flexible and student-centered learning that emphasizes in-depth understanding with the UbD approach. However, the chemistry assessment, especially on the salt hydrolysis material in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru and SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru, has not been fully oriented towards student understanding and tends to only measure low-level cognitive aspects, so that this has an impact on the limited ability of students to understand the material deeply and meaningfully. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the assessment to be more contextual and applicable, so that researchers develop a summative assessment instrument based on six aspects of understanding in the UbD framework (Explanation, interpretation, application, perspective, empathy, self-reflection) on the salt hydrolysis material for grade XI SMA and equivalent. This study aims to produce a valid instrument from the aspects of material, construction, and language, to find out user responses, and to find out the characteristics of the test items. Using the ADDIE development model, data were collected through validation sheets, trials one-on-one and limited, user response questionnaires, and item characteristic tests. The results showed that the assessment instrument was valid based on expert assessment (construction 95.94%, material 97.49%, language 93.60%). Teacher responses were very good (effectiveness 100%, language 100%, usefulness 87.5%), and student responses were also very good (readability 94%, time adequacy 82.5%). Based on the item characteristic test, 10 valid questions with high reliability were obtained, consisting of 9 questions with moderate difficulty and 1 easy question, as well as 4 questions with sufficient discriminatory power and 6 questions with good discriminatory power.
