Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Assisted Individualization Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pokok Bahasan Hidrokarbon Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Dumai
Abstract: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the team assisted individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model in improving student learning outcomes on hydrocarbon material in Grade XI at SMA Negeri 2 Dumai. The research employed an experimental method using a pretest-posttest control group design. The study sample comprised two classes: the experimental class, which employed the TAI cooperative learning model, and the control class, which utilized a widely practiced discussion-based method. The research instrument included a learning outcomes test administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the treatment. The data analysis was conducted using a t-test at a 0,05 level of significance. The results of the analysis revealed that the calculated t-value of 5.24023 was greater than the critical t-value of 1.6664, demonstrating a statistically significant difference in the students' learning outcomes across the two groups. These findings suggest that the TAI cooperative learning model is more effective in enhancing student learning outcomes on hydrocarbon material compared to the discussion method previously used in the control class.
