One of the mathematical skills that students must master is problem-solving skills. The results of a preliminary study indicate that students' mathematical problem-solving skills are still low. In addition to cognitive abilities, there are affective abilities that must also be developed, one of which is the character of the critical reasoning dimension. Changes in the times and rapid technological developments have caused a decline in students' critical reasoning character. The PBL model, as a problem-based learning model with each step, is considered capable of facilitating and improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills and critical reasoning dimensions. In this study, the PBL model was applied to the material of systems of linear equations in two variables, because this material has an important role in everyday life and the world of work.....
